There But Not There

WW1 Tommies commemorate the 888,246 British and Commonwealth Service men and women who lost their lives in the First World.

Our Association in 2018 purchased a "Tommie", we travelled Scotland, visiting Football Grounds, Hampden Park Glasgow, Murrayfield Stadium, Freuchie Cricket Club, St. Andrews Golf Course and many towns, cities and landmarks across Scotland. We raised awareness across Scotland of the British Tommies who left their homeland 100yrs ago. We remembered those who paid the ultimate sacrifce for King and Country. We remembered the freedom that Britain's Bravest fought and died for during the Great War. Our Tommie was gifted to the Scottish Parliament, leaving a legacy forevermore. Remembrance through education is a prioroty for our Association.  We must learn from our past and never repeat history.  God Bless Her Majesty's Armed Forces, Past, Present and Future.
